Imagine a world of honest people, whose “yes” is “yes” and whose “no” is “no”.

Imagine a world where someone tells you “I love you” and demonstrates it beyond words.

Imagine a world where the sacredness of words is upheld because of the place of their emanation, the heart. For if words come from the heart rather than the lips then its sacrality becomes prominent.

We have become a verbose world, where the value of words is constantly eroding, even truth, honesty, sincerity, and other words that portray the sacred nature of words are now twisted, manipulated and utterly disregarded.

Is this a better world?

Can we construct a better world? It is time again to listen to Jesus, for what kills us, both as individuals and as communities or nations, is the mismatch between what we say and what we do, between what we think and how we act.
