Let’s start a conversation!

Let the conversation begin with a story, and another one, plus another one. Dialogue among Christians with the goal of unity, otherwise called ecumenical dialogue should perhaps be about telling our stories in a bid to build our broken pieces from the ground up. Remember, the Tales by Moonlight, which brought about the community of kids, each from his or her parents’ house. In telling our stories, we come together in friendship to listen to one another, to understand one another, and to learn from one another.

Now, let us begin to imagine!

Imagine the friendship that could be formed among us when we tell stories of how we negotiate Christian division in Nigeria.

Imagine how this friendship could help us drop some of our prejudices against one another.

Imagine how this friendship could inspire more intense dialogue on Christian unity.

Imagine how our friendship could lead us to collaborate on common issues that affect us in our society.

Let the imagination continue as we become friends by telling our stories of division and of solidarity as well!
