The early Church was a community that understood the nature of Christ’s power that sought to conquer by love, humility, forgiveness even in the face of persecution, endurance and hope in the midst of uncertainty, and focus on the Kingdom of God. #SV – Dearth of Models

At the end of the day, the only quintessential model is Christ, who gave it all that we might have life in abundance. While Paul’s model was not to overburden anyone, Christ model is to be a place refuge and rest for all who are beating any kind of burden. Christ is our burden bearer, the one who bore our sin and shame with his strips and death on the tree.
