The instruction that was given by Jesus on collecting the fragments is based on something very instructive, namely “so that nothing will be wasted” (John 6:12). Nothing should be wasted. In the hands of the super rich, particularly those that have managed to highjack the commonwealth of nations, they can afford to throw away the fragments, because for them, these are for the poor.
